How to Win the Argument Against an Article V Convention
To fully comprehend what is currently going on with the Article V convention movement, one must understand that those who are really behind promoting an Article V convention are using reasonably sophisticated techniques to get their audience to go along with their position. Executive Summary
The effort to call an Article V convention was initiated and funded in 1963 by the Ford Foundation in furtherance of its objective (shared with the Rockefeller Foundation) of establishing regional governance (Soviet Union-styled communism) in the U.S. In 1953 the United States House Select Committee to Investigate Tax-Exempt Foundations and Comparable Organizations (Reece Committee) determined that Foundations were supporting un-American objectives in this country. The States have a duty to interpose any time anything or anyone threatens our rights, including our right to "Life, Liberty" and property. If a hostile band of Canadians unexpectedly sweep down from the north to conquer and pillage, the states have a duty to stop those wild-eyed Canadians.
